About the story:

Claude Sawyer is a businessman who has to make a trip to England. He books his passage on a fine new ship. But as soon as the ship sails he feels something is wrong. The ship rolls and lurches. The baker is hit by a falling bolt. Claude worries so much that he has nightmares. This is a true story.
